Couples Therapy

Invariably, couples will face challenges.
You love each other, but you don’t really like each other right now.
Perhaps you are arguing constantly about the same things over and over to the point that now you walk on eggshells, afraid to say the wrong thing that will ignite another fight. Now, you may feel more like roommates or co-parents than a loving couple.
Any relationship can become more complicated over time. Work, tending to children or aging parents, maintaining a household, and a host of other issues can stress any relationship.
At this point, you may feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward.
Move forward, positively, with couples therapy.
If you are tired of crying and wondering how your relationship got to this point, or are fearful that the relationship won’t work, or that it’s too late, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
Couples therapy can provide a safe space to process your issues. My role is to help the relationship, not to take sides.
The first thing you will learn is techniques to help you communicate effectively, as you strive to honor each other’s opinions.
You will learn conflict resolution tools, exercises designed to enhance connection, and emotional regulation techniques to help you control big emotions.

It’s time to get help if you:
- Feel distant from your partner
- Have a relationship that lacks intimacy
- Lost trust in your partner because of a betrayal of trust
- Encountered big life changes like a baby, loss of life, loss of income
- Feel stuck in dysfunctional cycles
Meet the challenges you face.
Today is the day that things can begin to change.
Whether you face major or minor changes, couples therapy offers a way to reduce conflict and bring you back together – in a positive and loving way.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You need to pick up the phone, and you will be one step closer to it.
